Product details

The amplifier is the heart of your audio system, and a clean power supply is correspondingly important. If you hear a mechanical hum, use the DC Blocker from iFi Audio and say goodbye to the buzzing or humming. The annoying hum is caused by a small DC voltage in the power supply that makes its way to the power transformer, causing it to hum. The DC Blocker is a clever device that you can attach to the C13 socket (at the rear power input) and, as the name suggests, prevents DC from entering the amplifier. This eliminates the hum of the amplifier transformer. The DC Blocker is conveniently usable worldwide. Thanks to its small size, it takes up hardly any space and does not block other plugs, sockets, or cables.
