Icy Docks EZConvert MB705M2P-B is the complete solution for converting an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD into a standard 2.5-inch U.2 (SFF-8639) NVMe SSD with exact dimensions, connector position, and mounting holes. Designed with high compatibility in mind, this adapter accommodates all M.2 sizes from 30 mm to 80 mm in length (2230 / 2242 / 2260 / 2280) and allows for installation without screws or tools. This enables effortless installation in any 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe backplanes, hot swap slots, and 2.5-inch mounting frames, as well as ICY DOCK's own U.2 NVMe SSD exchange frames. The sturdy aluminum housing protects the sensitive M.2 SSDs from shocks and drops while also acting as a heat sink in conjunction with the included thermal pads. This ensures that your SSDs remain cool and powerful even under heavy loads.
