With this hub, the fast USB 3.0 can be utilized sevenfold through the new Type-C connection. The hub is bus-powered and therefore usable without an external power supply; however, a power adapter is included, allowing multiple power-hungry devices to be connected. With a transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s, USB 3.0 has many applications. It is backward compatible, making it suitable for USB 2.0 devices as well (with the correspondingly lower transfer speed).

If you want to use existing USB 3.0 devices with the latest mobile devices and laptops featuring USB Type-C, this compact hub provides a quick solution. You use a single USB 3.0 Type-C port on the laptop and magically add seven more ports. Problem solved.

USB 3.0 Type-C connections have two significant advantages over existing forms. They are smaller, making them ideal for slim laptops and mobile devices, and there is no need to plug the connector in a specific orientation; it will always fit, saving users from many small frustrations.
