A docking station with a variety of ports is a real asset for a notebook that may only have one additional port left for further applications after using the charging port. With the IB-DK2252AC, for example, you can connect a mouse, use a full-size keyboard, connect one or more larger external displays, attach external hard drives or a printer via USB ports, and enjoy stable internet through the Ethernet port.

Icy Box offers a wide range of dock designs: flat, horizontal variants, those that are shaped like a wedge for ergonomic use under a notebook, or those like the IB-DK2252AC that come with a stand. The stand provides the device with a secure hold—even when plugging and unplugging cables—and allows for effective work with this upright docking station.

By connecting a single cable to the docking station, you can transform your notebook or Windows tablet into a multi-monitor desktop. This allows for dual UHD (4K) video resolutions at 60 Hz. The video connections are made via DisplayPort and HDMI interfaces. No additional adapters are required.

Note: The DisplayLink driver must be installed before use. Dual video output is maximally possible, either 2 DP, 2 HDMI, or 1 HDMI + 1 DP.
