The new chipset supports UASP technology and SATA III 6 Gbit/s hard drives, making data transfer significantly faster than with a standard USB 3.0 enclosure. The Easy Swap mechanism also allows for high speeds when changing hard drives: open the flap, remove the hard drive, insert the new hard drive, close the flap, and you're done.
