The Starling 3251C comes with fire-rated plenum or CM cables. Applications include extending USB 3 conference cameras, video recording devices, and audio devices for meeting rooms and conference spaces. The Starling Extender series has been successfully tested with most popular USB 3.1 conference cameras in conjunction with major UC conferencing applications. This 1-port USB 3.2 Gen extender supports data rates of up to 5 Gbps and is plug-and-play capable—no software drivers required—for all major operating systems: Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS. Additionally, this ExtremeUSB-C-based USB 3.2 Gen 1 extender system is FCC/CE Class A certified and is ideally suited for use with all USB peripherals in addition to USB 3.2 Gen 1 conference cameras, including: flash drives, hard drives, keyboards, mice, interactive whiteboards, touchscreens, audio devices, and other USB 3, 2, and 1 devices.
