The new Ranger 2324 from Icron is a USB extender with 4 ports, featuring an updated ASIC-based design and updated firmware. It extends all USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices over multimode fiber up to 500 meters at throughput speeds of up to 480 Mbit/s. Thanks to Icon's patented ExtremeUSB technology, the Ranger 2324 is compatible with all major operating systems (Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux). Additionally, this USB extender offers true plug-and-play functionality and requires no software or driver installation.
