The Icron Ranger 2311 is a new, advanced member of Icron's USB extender series. It is capable of extending USB 2.0 connections up to 100 meters over Cat 5e or better cabling. The Ranger 2311 has been developed with Icron's patented ExtremeUSB technology and is a true plug-and-play solution, requiring no software or drivers to be installed. Additionally, the USB 2.0 extender supports all major operating systems (Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux). It supports all types of USB devices such as keyboards, mice, flash drives, interactive whiteboards, audio devices, and any other USB 2.0 or 1.1 devices. Key features of the Ranger 2311 include updated firmware, a new ASIC-based design, and a switch of the internal USB hub from Microchip to Cypress.
