The iBasso DX170 is a practical all-round music player in a handy pocket size, designed to delight both newcomers to hi-res music and discerning music lovers. The two Cirrus Logic CS43131 DACs deliver sound with precision, detail, fine resolution, and beautiful transparency. The open Android 11 operating system makes installing and using apps particularly easy. The APKPure app is already installed on the DX170, allowing for quick and straightforward downloading and use of apps like Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, Qobuz, and more. Also pre-installed is the user-friendly Mango Player app, which organizes and plays music stored on the DX170 in a clear manner. With the many equalizer settings available in the Mango app, the sound can be finely tuned to individual preferences as needed. Audio files can be stored on the 32 GB internal memory, which can be expanded with a microSD card if necessary. In addition to WiFi for streaming services, the DX170 is also equipped with Bluetooth for wireless music playback to a Bluetooth headphone or speaker. The DX170 can also function as a Bluetooth receiver to play music wirelessly. Furthermore, it can be used as a USB DAC to enhance sound quality on a computer. The menu navigation is very intuitive, and the borderless, high-contrast five-inch touchscreen display impresses with excellent resolution and color fidelity. The tactile wheel on the right side of the DX170 allows for precise volume adjustment. The side buttons enable easy pausing, playing, fast-forwarding, and rewinding of music without needing to look at the device.
