You will especially appreciate the compact dimensions and lightweight design while traveling. This hub features three USB 3.0 ports with plug & play and USB charging functionality – it automatically detects whether a USB-chargeable device is connected. The USB 3.0 interface is particularly important when transferring larger amounts of data from your memory cards and flash storage devices. The hub is powered via the USB bus. To protect your computer from short circuits in peripheral devices, it includes built-in surge protection. The hub is backward compatible with USB 2.0.

The Gigabit Ethernet port provides access to high-performance networks and the internet. You do not need to purchase an additional Gigabit LAN card for the PCI/PCIe slot or the Express/CardBus slot. Thanks to the USB 3.0 specification, it is possible to fully and reliably utilize speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps. The Ethernet network connection can also be used on Android devices; however, this feature must already be integrated by the manufacturer in the Android device. You can check if the Ethernet network connection is supported under Network Settings - Other Networks - Ethernet.
