Innovative solution for intelligent manual soldering. ERSA has developed the i-CON 2(V) MK2 soldering station to meet the demands of higher working temperatures and increasingly smaller process windows of lead-free soldering processes. The electronics station features a second connection for an additional i-tool or alternatively for tools for desoldering SMD components or through-hole components. The i-CON series is, of course, antistatic. A firmware update can be performed via the micro-SD card slot.

Innovative technology - the highlights at a glance:

• User-friendly one-touch operation of the software with online help and easy menu navigation via i-Op menu selection. Large multifunction display.
• Three energy power levels are available, regulating the heating element according to the required heat demand. At the highest setting, the system delivers maximum power of 150 W. In the low power setting, the output is strictly regulated, preventing any temperature overshoot.
• Process window and alarm visually and audibly inform the operator if the temperature leaves the preset temperature process window.
• With the i-Set Tool Vario option, additional i-CON soldering stations can be automatically configured and locked. Station settings can be easily and quickly downloaded from one i-CON to the i-Set Tool and uploaded to another station within 5 seconds.

i-Tool: The i-Tool is an extremely lightweight, powerful fine soldering iron with a wide selection of affordable long-lasting solder tips. 150 W of power ensure the fastest heating and reheating response. Process window alarm, energy power levels, and automatic standby sensor give the i-CON user unprecedented process control. The calibration data of the i-Tool is stored on the circuit board in the handle of the soldering iron.
