Product details
Soldering Station i-CON 1 MK2 with Soldering Iron i-TOOL MK2
The innovative solution for intelligent hand soldering. ERSA has developed the i-CON 1 MK2 soldering station to meet the demands for higher working temperatures and increasingly smaller process windows of lead-free soldering processes. The extremely small, lightweight, ergonomic, and powerful soldering iron i-TOOL MK2 significantly contributes to improved quality, productivity, and a substantial reduction in operating costs. The i-CON 1 MK2 is, of course, antistatic.
Innovative technology – the highlights at a glance:
- The new Tip’n’Turn technology enables faster and safer tip changes through the use of a new bayonet attachment.
- In addition to improved ergonomics, the 142 tip series offers enhanced heat transfer and high performance at an optimal price-performance ratio.
- Soldering iron i-TOOL MK2 with 150 W micro high-performance heating element.
- User-friendly “One-Touch” operation of the software with online help and easy menu navigation via i-Op menu selection. Large multifunction display.
- The calibration data of the i-TOOL MK2 is stored on the circuit board in the handle of the soldering iron. Independent calibration from the control station allows all i-TOOL MK2 units to be calibrated centrally.
- Automatic standby sensor in the i-TOOL MK2 soldering iron detects the idle phase and lowers the temperature to the pre-selected standby temperature after the chosen standby time.
- Shut-down function.
- Three energy performance levels are available, regulating the heating element according to the required heat demand. At the highest setting, the system delivers maximum power of 150 W, while at the low setting, the power is strictly regulated with no overshooting allowed.
- Process window visually informs the operator if the temperature leaves the selected temperature process window.
