Das Huawei Y5 (2018) ist nicht sonderlich leistungsstark und knipst auch nicht die schönsten Bilder. Für den Preis ist das aber ok. Das Smartphone eignet sich dann für euch, wenn ihr ohnehin nur per WhatsApp oder telefonisch erreichbar sein wollt und die vielen anderen smarten Funktionen gar nicht braucht, oder wenn ihr euer teures Smartphone nicht mit aufs Festival oder in den Urlaub nehmen wollt.
Der Smartphone-Markt für Einsteiger-Modelle ist hart umkämpft. Huawei versucht mit dem Huawei Y5 (2018) das günstige Segment aufzumischen. Jedoch schneidet das Gerät in unseren Tests nur unterdurchschnittlich ab. Lediglich die noch ordentliche Akku-Laufzeit, Display-Qualität und der Dual-SIM-Slot sprechen für das Gerät. Zum Testzeitpunkt kostet es knapp 100 Euro - ist also sehr günstig.
