The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 are a serious alternative to AirPods Pro, Pixel Buds and Galaxy Buds. The sound, ANC and operation in particular are top-notch and don't have to hide behind more expensive in-ears. Unfortunately, the battery upgrade is rather meagre compared to its predecessor and the transparency mode is also not without its flaws. So you need to set your priorities clearly here.
Externally, the Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 hardly differ from their predecessors and they have not moved far away in terms of sound either. They play clearly defined bass, lose substance in the upper bass and again place a strong emphasis on the presence range around 2 kHz. Clear, not overly emphasised trebles round off a fairly harmonious sound...
With the FreeBuds Pro 4, Huawei has achieved a technically impressive further development of its premium in-ears, which impress with many functions and a great sound.
