The solar kit allows for the quick and easy determination of parameters for evaluating the performance of a PV system. The HT65 digital multimeter (TRMS) enables voltage measurements up to 1500 V DC. The PV204 is a digital measuring device for determining solar radiation in W/m² or BTU/(ft²*h). The sensor of the PV204 is connected to the instrument via a detachable, freely movable connection cable, making it versatile for accurate solar radiation measurements. The HT4006 AC/DC current transformer offers two measurement ranges – 40 A and 400 A AC/DC. The HT65 measures TRMS voltage up to 1500 V/DC and 1000 V/AC, as well as current from 0.1 A to 400 A DC and AC with the external transformer HT4006. It allows for low impedance (LoZ) voltage measurements, frequency measurement, resistance, continuity with buzzer, capacitance measurement, and temperature measurement with a Type K probe. The LCD display with backlighting features 4,000 digits, diode testing, automatic range selection, auto power off, and data hold. The PV204 measures solar radiation up to 1,999 W/m² or 634 BTU/(ft²*h) with a data hold function, unit selection for W/m² or BTU/(ft²*h), manual or automatic range selection, zeroing of the displayed value, as well as maximum and minimum measurements. The backlighting and auto power off function are also included. The HT4006 has a measurement range of 0.1 A to 40 A AC/DC and from 0.5 A to 400 A AC/DC with an accuracy of ± 2.5 % rdg and a maximum cable diameter of 30 mm. The overvoltage category is CAT III 600 V and CAT IV 300 V. Connection is made via banana plugs.
