Product details

The second generation of HP's Z Turbo SSD is designed as a high-performance mass storage solution to enhance system and program startup times, as well as the overall responsiveness of your ProDesk or EliteDesk series PC. With a PCI-Express/NVMe connection, this SSD offers multiple times the read and write speeds of a traditional SATA III SSD. With its 512 GB capacity, the HP SSD provides more than enough storage for an operating system and numerous applications. The advantages over a conventional hard drive include not only higher read and write speeds but also significantly shorter access times, lower energy consumption, greatly increased shock resistance, and the absence of any noise. This SSD particularly excels in systems with NVMe support, allowing you to benefit from high throughput, high IOPS, and low latency. Unlike the older AHCI protocol, which was designed for traditional spinning drives, NVMe prevents performance drops, offers faster transfer of large data volumes, increased boot speeds, and improved system responsiveness.
