The HPE QSFP28 100 Gbit transceiver is designed to meet the growing demand for more bandwidth in the data center. The 100 Gbit performance allows for a reduction in port density and hardware components while increasing speed. With lower costs per bit, the HPE 100 Gbit QSFP28 transceiver can significantly reduce investment and operational costs for interconnect connections. By connecting a fiber optic cable via a standard MPO connector, a connection of up to 100 meters can be established using multimode fiber.

  • The HPE QSFP28 MPO SR4 transceiver (100 m) with 100 Gbit has four optical lanes in each direction, allowing each to operate at 25 Gbit.
  • MPO connector for multimode fiber optic cables.
  • Connections with a range of up to 70 m over OM3 and 100 m over OM4 multimode fiber optic cables at 100 Gbit/s.
  • Bit error rate (BER) of less than 10^-15.
  • 3.3 V power supply.
