The next generation of HP InfiniBand adapters for selected HP ProLiant BLc, DL, ML, SL, and XL servers, Gen8 and Gen9 models. All adapters are based on Mellanox ConnectX-3 Pro technology for unparalleled scalability and fabric flexibility, featuring two ports and can be used as an InfiniBand card or Ethernet card with two ports, or as a combo card in rack servers. When combined with HP InfiniBand FDR Edge Switches, they provide InfiniBand bandwidth with low latency, a Fourteen Data Rate (FDR) of up to 56 Gbit/s, or a Quad Data Rate (QDR) of up to 40 Gbit/s. They are suitable for performance-oriented server and storage cluster applications in the field of High Performance Computing (HPC) and in enterprise data centers.
