HP USB-C/A Universal Docking Station G2

This docking station is designed for universal compatibility and works with USB-A, USB-C, and Thunderbolt-enabled notebooks from HP and other manufacturers. For USB-C functionality, the host PC must support the DisplayPort Alternate Mode protocol via its USB-C port. Thunderbolt-enabled notebooks can operate at USB-C speeds. Charging and port replication are supported on notebooks that implement USB-C industry specifications. The power button is used to turn the system on or wake it up. Wake-on-LAN from Hot and Cold Dock, as well as Wake-on-LAN from S4/S5 and Hot and Cold Dock functions with MAC address pass-through S0, S3, S4, S5, only work with HP or HP-supported notebooks. HP does not provide Ethernet and audio drivers for Mac PCs.

Connect your notebook to the docking station using the included USB-A adapter and access your accessories and up to two 4K displays. Support for two displays includes a notebook screen and an external display or two external displays. Use the optional HP 4.5mm and USB-C Docking Station Adapter G2 to charge older devices.

Enable your IT team to manage and track your docking stations by product name, serial number, and MAC address from anywhere with the time-saving, user-friendly asset management tool Electronic Tag. A WMI installation is required. Requires Windows 7 or Windows 10.
