Hoya UV HMC (C) - Protective filter with a flat design. The ultraviolet filter absorbs ultraviolet light rays that often make outdoor shots appear blurry and washed out. It serves as a universal filter in good weather, suitable for both color and black-and-white film. The UV filter can also act as a "perpetual" lens protector when placed in front of the lens. HMC (Hoya Multi-Coating) This popular multi-coated filter is known for its extremely low reflections on its glass surface, which further suppresses stray light and ghosting. An average transmission value of over 97% is achieved, resulting in high brilliance and balanced color neutrality. The HMC filter from Hoya is recommended to fully utilize the high performance of modern multi-coated lenses.
