The Hoya PROND filter kit is an essential filter kit. The kit consists of three ND filters - PROND8, PROND64, and PROND1000, allowing photographers to capture the world in various expressions. PROND8, PROND64, and PROND1000 are the key ND filters that help realize three common and frequently used expressions among photographers. The ACCU-ND technology used in the coating process results in a truly neutral color balance, ensuring that your images do not have a noticeable color cast. The Hoya PROND filters feature a precisely designed thick aluminum frame to prevent light loss, achieving correct exposure and color balance.

PROND8 (3 Stops): The Hoya PROND8 is essential for shooting with fast lenses at wide apertures during the day, making it perfect for portrait shots with shallow depth of field. The subject appears sharp and clear against a soft, blurred background.

PROND1000 (10 Stops): The Hoya PROND1000 is indispensable for expressing an unreal fantasy world, thanks to its reduction of light by 10 stops. It is widely used in seascapes to blur waves, on the street to capture the movement of clouds, and in architecture to eliminate moving people.

PROND filters in video production: ND filters are also an irreplaceable tool in video recording. For example, when shooting with a Sony camera in Slog mode, the ISO value cannot be set below 800. To achieve a natural motion blur, it is recommended to adjust the shutter speed to the frame rate setting. The combination of PROND8 and PROND1000 produces the same effect as ND8000, allowing you to capture the sun's surface without overexposure, with full color and visibility of the black spots.
