Hoya Circular Polarizer Filter

Light reflected from electrically non-conductive surfaces is polarized to varying degrees depending on the angle of incidence, meaning its vibrations are not evenly distributed in all directions but are preferentially aligned in one plane. A polarizer allows such light to pass through, weakens it, or blocks it, depending on the filter's orientation, without affecting the color neutrality of your shots. Polarizers feature a rotating frame so you can observe and optimally adjust the reflection-reducing effect in the viewfinder. Circular polarizers eliminate unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass.
