The Hoya HMC UV(0) are professional UV filters with exceptionally high transmission and perfect color balance. They offer increased durability with hardened glass. UV filters cut out unwanted ultraviolet rays, reduce haze, and enhance clarity. Additionally, the UV filter serves very well as protective glass for the lens. With 12 layers of coating, they provide a transmission of 99.7%. The filter features reinforced glass and is 40% lighter than conventional filters. The 3 mm filter frame is ideal for wide-angle shots with a front thread.
