Hoya Fusion Antistatic UV Filter

Hoya engineers have developed a new anti-static coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. Additionally, the hardened, anti-static top layer is water-repellent, stain- and scratch-resistant, and easy to clean when stains or fingerprints get on the surface. The UV filter cuts out unwanted ultraviolet rays, reduces haze, and increases clarity. Hoya applies the utmost care and precision to apply the enhanced 18-layer Super Multi-Coating (on both sides) formula, which significantly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and results in a clear high transmission rate. The filters feature a lightweight, one-piece, low-profile flat aluminum frame to hold the glass. This one-piece design allows the filter to maintain a perfect parallel alignment to the sensor plane for maximum sharpness while the flat shape eliminates vignetting when used with ultra-wide-angle lenses.
