Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next CIR-PL Filter

The HOYA engineers have developed a new anti-static coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. Additionally, the hardened, anti-static top layer is water-repellent, stain- and scratch-resistant, and easy to clean when stains or fingerprints get on the surface. With circular polarizing filters, photographers can achieve creative, in-camera effects that are no longer possible after the image is captured. A polarizing filter eliminates unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water or glass, as well as light that reflects moisture and pollutants in the atmosphere. By rotating the ultra-smooth filter, you can select just the right amount of filtration needed for the creative effect. The new professional anti-static filters from the Fusion Antistatic Next series are made in Japan from carefully selected silicates that are meticulously melted and blended to create high-performance optical glass. HOYA then applies the utmost care and precision to coat both sides with the enhanced 18-layer Super Multi-Coating formula, which significantly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and achieves very high light transmission rates. This means that the filter has practically no effect on the color balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image beyond its polarizing effect.
