Product details

The Houben overlay igniter is an electronic ignition device specifically designed for use with sodium vapor high-pressure lamps, halogen metal vapor lamps, and ceramic burner lamps. It supports lamps with a power range of 70 to 400 watts and offers a nominal voltage of 220-240 V as well as a nominal frequency of 50-60 Hz. With an ignition voltage of 4-5 kV and a maximum lamp current of 5 A, this device ensures reliable ignition and stable operation. The maximum housing temperature is 105 °C, allowing for safe use. The igniter is made of aluminum and weighs 250 g, making it lightweight and easy to install. It is suitable for indoor use and comes with a threaded bolt, a pre-assembled toothed washer, and a nut for mounting.
