Homematic IP HmIP-WRCR rotary switch

The Homematic IP rotary switch enables intuitive switching and nearly continuous dimming of lighting through various Homematic IP dimmers. It can be flexibly positioned at any mounting location.

This versatile rotary switch not only allows for the adjustment of light intensity via the rotary knob but also for switching the lighting on and off by pressing the knob. Thanks to the familiar 55mm format, wireless communication, and long-lasting battery power supply, the rotary switch can be easily integrated into existing switch series or placed flexibly. A mounting plate is included, allowing the rotary switch to be installed using screws or double-sided tape. Additionally, the plate is designed to be installed on a free flush-mounted box. The Homematic IP wireless rotary switch operates so efficiently that the energy from two micro batteries (LR03) is sufficient for up to 3 years of operation. Alternatively, the rotary switch can also be powered via the 230 V power grid using the Homematic IP power supply for brand switches.

Setup can be done either via a free smartphone app with a no-cost cloud service through the Homematic IP Access Point or with locally operated smart home central units CCU2/CCU3. Alternatively, integration through numerous partner solutions is also possible.
