Homematic IP Access Point

Easily start your Smart Home. The Homematic IP Access Point 2 makes it particularly comfortable to enter the Smart Home world. With the intuitive Homematic IP app, you can centrally set up, control, and expand all devices in the system. Communication takes place securely via the Homematic IP Cloud.

Installation: The Access Point is simply connected to the router via an Ethernet cable and powered using the included power adapter. It can be placed flat on a surface or mounted on the wall to save space – the necessary mounting materials are included in the package. The setup is conveniently completed in just a few steps through the Homematic IP app: Simply connect the device, scan the QR code, and the setup will start automatically.

Configuration: With the free Homematic IP app, you can set up your Smart Home in no time. All other Homematic IP products can be intuitively added and configured individually. Up to 15 users can access a system. Multiple installations, such as in a holiday home, can also be conveniently controlled via the app. In conjunction with the Homematic IP Wired Access Point, the integration of Homematic IP Wired components is also possible – for even more flexibility.

Control: Once set up, you maintain full control at any time through the Homematic IP app. Additionally, the Smart Home system can be comfortably operated via voice command using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. The intuitive user interface of the app allows for easy control, individual adjustments, and quick access to all functions – wherever you are.
