The future is here, as Hobbywing introduces the QuicRun Fusion, the first motor for 1/10 rock crawlers that features an integrated controller. Often, space in the vehicle is very limited, leaving little room to neatly arrange the various cables. But that is finally a thing of the past. Just about the size of a typical 550 motor and weighing 210 g, you won't even notice that the motor and controller are combined. Thanks to the intelligent torque and speed control, a crawler can easily adapt to any situation. This combination is supported by an excellent waterproof and dustproof casing, allowing for limitless fun. Even the electronic switch is appropriately protected. The technology used is called FOC (Field-Oriented-Control), which is responsible for this superb control feel. With sinusoidal motor control, both the controller and motor remain cooler, achieving a silky smooth and quiet motor operation.
