The specially developed RSA surround (Reinforced-Structure-Array) for the ZXT series ensures extreme excursion capability and precise guidance of the ultra-stiff carbon-composite diaphragm. Control is further enhanced by the triple-layer Nomex spider, which acts like guide rails and prevents any misalignment even under maximum load. Thermally, the ZXT10D2 is also well-equipped: with a 76 mm dual voice coil made of pi-CCAR flat wire (aluminum with copper coating, heat-resistant up to 240 °C), the woofer handles even the toughest demands. Combined with a winding height of 58 mm, it achieves a linear excursion of an impressive ±23 mm – pure level power with maximum control.
