Hifonics Brutus BRX42 10 cm 2 way coax system FLAT

Shallow mounting depths for speakers are becoming increasingly important for many applications, but often flat speakers sound quite thin due to limited bass excursion, resulting in a musical compromise. With the newly developed BRUTUS BRX series, HiFonics has brilliantly managed to change this. Even the 2-way system BRX6.2C, with a nominal size of 16.5 cm, fits into almost any opening with a mounting depth of just 42 mm, and it impresses particularly with its excellent bass performance. This is primarily due to the completely newly developed carbon fiber diaphragm, which is extremely stable yet very lightweight—a must, especially for flat speakers. A cable crossover relieves the 20 mm textile neodymium tweeter from the lower frequencies. Thanks to the compact design of the crossover, installation is also straightforward.
