Hifiman Ef2c

The Hifiman EF2C is a headphone amplifier with a hybrid design: it combines the beautifully warm and organic sound of a tube amplifier with the advantages of a solid-state amplifier, namely minimal distortion and a high signal-to-noise ratio. It features two 6J1 tubes for the input stage and an OPA2604 operational amplifier for the output. The stepped potentiometer provides particularly precise control with a very low susceptibility to interference of less than 0.0001. The result is excellent channel balance and soundstage. The EF2C can be connected to a computer via USB or to a CD player or other playback device through the RCA input. On the front of the amplifier, there is a 6.3 mm headphone jack.
