Product details
The Panzerkampfwagen VI, better known as the Tiger II or King Tiger, was an improved version of the heavy Tiger tank. During World War II, it was considered the best tank of the German Wehrmacht. The 8.8 cm gun provided the King Tiger with tremendous firepower. The first 50 units were equipped with the turret developed by Porsche, after which only the Schmalturm from Hentschel was used.
The AMEWI Professional Line Edition is a faithful replica in 1:16 scale, delivered in a solid real wood box styled like a natural-colored ammunition crate. RTR – ready to run. The tank features smoke and sound functions, as well as a lighting system for an even more convincing experience. The firing function is operated via a joystick and push button, allowing 6 mm BB hard plastic projectiles to be fired up to 15 meters. The cannon can be moved up and down, and all control functions are proportional, allowing for sensitive maneuvering. Additionally, the model includes an infrared combat module, enabling duels with other tanks from this AMEWI edition. When hit directly by an opponent, the struck tank registers and simulates the hit through vibration.
The model is powered by two strong motors that transmit their power to the drive wheels via a multi-stage metal gearbox. The entire running gear is made of metal, just like the tracks themselves. The gearbox is also encapsulated. All road wheels on the chassis are connected to the chassis with metal swing arms and are damped. This faithful model with its camouflage paint job is on par with the real tank. The entire delivery corresponds to the latest state of technology. From now on, we supply all models with a modern Li-Ion battery of 1800 mAh and 7.4 V. A suitable charger is also included in the set.
