The TYPE 30 MK2 is HEDD's 3-way flagship speaker, enabling uncompromising monitoring in medium to large recording and mastering studios.

With two 7" horizontal woofers, a 4" midrange driver, and HEDD's proprietary High-Resolution Air Motion Transformer (HEDD AMT), it delivers the power, flexibility, and dynamics you need to get your work done.

The TYPE 30 MK2 utilizes a SHARC DSP and is packed with HEDD innovations. The built-in linearizer manages the timing of the various drivers, allowing for improved perception of the stereo image and overall staging. With CoP technology, you can choose your preferred speaker mode: "Pus Closed" for uncompromising accuracy or "Ported" if you prefer working with higher sound pressure levels and in music genres where access to very low frequencies is essential.

And that's not all: the TYPE 30 MK2 offers desktop filters (e.g., for positioning on a meter bridge) as well as bass and treble shelving options to further adapt the speakers to your room. A special bass extension mode also gives you access to even deeper frequencies, providing a true subwoofer feel. All these controls are accessible via stepped aluminum potentiometers.
