The HEDD TYPE 05 MK2 is the most compact active monitor solution from HEDD's professional speaker series. With its small 5" honeycomb woofer and high-precision AMT, it is perfect for home studios, broadcasting, and video editing in limited spaces.

Like its larger siblings, the TYPE 05 MK2 is powered by a powerful SHARC DSP. It features HEDD's latest innovation: the "Lineariser," which perfects the stereo image and depth layering by optimizing the speaker phase. The two different CoP modes (Closed and Ported) allow for a choice between a clean and precise sound ("Closed") or the ability to operate the speakers at significantly higher volumes while accessing deeper bass regions ("Open").

The entire MK2 series also includes desktop and shelving filters, enabling the speakers to be tailored to the studio environment, as well as an impressive bass boost mode that allows for deeper frequency ranges. All controls are equipped with stepped aluminum potentiometers, allowing for easy and repeatable adjustments of the speakers.
