Product details

This high-capacity lithium-ion battery can support all Sony HD camcorders such as PMW-EX1, PMW-EX1R, PMW-EX3, PMW-100, PMW-150, PMW-200, PMW-300, PMW-F3, PXW-X160, PXW-X180, PXW-X200, PXW-FS7, as well as the latest models PXW-Z190 and PXW-Z280. The HED-BP95D features an external USB 5V / 5W / 1A output and a dual D-Tap DC 14.4V output, capable of delivering 115W / 8A for all professional external devices.

The dual D-Tap DC output socket is located on the top of the HED-BP95D battery. With this external power supply, you can connect two different products, such as an LED light and a video monitor on the camera, or a wireless transmitter and a digital recorder, while being powered either by the battery connected to the camera or separately as an independent power source. The opposing orientation of the D-Tap connectors offers more flexibility in daily operations. The maximum output of the two D-Taps is 95W.

The HED-BP95D includes a built-in 4-LED power meter that, at the push of a button, displays the remaining battery percentage at 100%, 75%, 50%, or 25%. The USB 5V / 1A output can be used to power all external electronic USB devices. With this feature, you can use the HED-BP95D as a power station to charge your phone, tablet, or other electronic devices that can be powered by USB 5V. Using the integrated data communication chip, the battery synchronizes with the camcorder to display the exact energy percentage on the LCD screen. The HED-BP95D is fully compatible with Sony's latest camcorders, the PXW-Z190 and PXW-Z280.
