The Hammond 1591 series is a multi-purpose plastic enclosure that is ideal for horizontal mounting of PCBs. The interior surfaces of the enclosure are smooth to facilitate the installation of connectors. Each enclosure features two molded-in PCB spacers and a construction with overlapping joints that provides protection against dust and splashing water according to IP54. The Hammond 1591 series is perfect for applications where repeated assembly and disassembly are required.
