The Hammond 1590 series is a robust housing made of aluminum alloy, suitable for electronic instruments. It is tough yet easy to work with. The overlapping joint construction provides IP54 protection against dust and splashes, as well as improved EMI/RFI shielding. The housing, also known as a stomp box, is available in rectangular, trapezoidal, or octagonal shapes.
