The dimensions do not include the cover (add 4 mm for the cover). IP54 housing made of die-cast. The Hammond 1590 series is a robust aluminum alloy enclosure suitable for electronic instruments. It is tough yet easy to work with. The overlapping joint construction provides IP54 protection against dust and splashes, while also enhancing EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure, also known as a stomp box, is available in rectangular, trapezoidal, or octagonal shapes.
