A polarizing filter combined with a variable ND filter offers two significant advantages. This screw filter saves time on set and combines the functions of two filters, reducing the overall height. The new, slim design of this CPL-VND 2 in 1 screw filter results in less vignetting when using wide-angle lenses.

The screw filter is perfect for use in bright environments, for example, to create a soft effect on flowing water. It is also ideal for long exposures of busy locations. This filter is optimal for filming with a wide aperture.

The filter's construction is well thought out and works as follows: By rotating the entire filter, the polarization is adjusted. Once set correctly, the strength of the ND filter is adjusted using the metal lever. There are markings on the ND filter that indicate the current level of darkening, with a scale ranging from 3 to 7 stops. The metal lever of the ND filter can be removed to prevent accidental adjustments, such as during filming.
