The Swede, with a short scale length of 24.75 inches (628 mm), produces a strong and warm tone that is both articulate and harmonically rich. The lower string tension allows for extended sustain and provides an expressive and versatile sound. The Lundgren Design No. 2 AlNiCo-2 pickups used are each specially calibrated to capture the instrument's natural, balanced tone. With their clear and well-defined sound profile, these pickups allow the natural character of the Swede to shine through.
