H-Tronic Power-on current limiter

Optimal protection for problematic loads. Designed to limit inrush currents for problematic loads such as energy-saving lamps and parallel compensated fluorescent lamps. Problematic loads like electronic ballasts, energy-saving lamps, incandescent bulbs, LED power supplies, and switch-mode power supplies exhibit a very high current draw at startup, often multiple times the rated current, which can damage relay switches. This additional device limits the high current that can occur when electronic devices are turned on to a harmless level. It can also limit the inrush current for incandescent bulbs, allowing them to achieve a longer lifespan. Additionally, a protective fuse is integrated. The inrush current limiter can be directly connected to the load circuit for loads up to 200 VA. The compact device can be easily installed in switch or junction boxes or lamp housings. The device is simply installed in series with the load.
