The GDM-8351 features a VFD dual display, a maximum of 120,000 counts, 0.012% basic DC accuracy, and USB/RS232C connections, providing users with high measurement accuracy, clear data monitoring, and convenient computer connectivity. In addition to basic measurement points such as AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, AC+DC voltage/current, 2W/4W resistance, frequency, temperature measurement, continuity testing, and diode testing, the GDM-8351 is also equipped with a capacitance measurement function. Furthermore, the GDM-8351 offers many additional features, including maximum/minimum values, dB, dBm, comparison, measurement hold, algorithms (MX+B, 1/X, %), etc., to meet measurement requirements for manufacturing tests, training experiments, and testing facilities. For external control, the digital I/O interface pin not only provides signal output commonly used by the comparison function but also allows users to define a signal output for each pin. In self-definition mode, users can apply the I/O as simple digital hardware. The external control requirement can be met through signals from any pin, helping users reduce difficulties in hardware manufacturing. Regarding remote control and data retrieval, the GDM-8351 offers the standard RS-232C and USB interfaces, considering habitual practices and universal system interfaces, to edit control programs and read measurement results. It is worth noting that users have the option to choose either the USBCDC or USBTMC mode for using the USB interface. When USBTMC is selected, users can control the instrument via the USB interface just like they would with the GPIB interface. Therefore, the relatively expensive GPIB connection cable is no longer needed.
