On tour and at events, conditions are tough and time is of the essence. Microphone stands are tossed around and not treated gently. The Gravity Touring Series microphone stand with a telescopic boom is therefore constructed to be extremely stable. It is made from particularly robust steel tubing with three folding legs. The bell and boom mount are made from indestructible zinc die-cast. The boom can be adjusted from 51 cm to 88 cm. The attached counterweight features a specially designed locking nut for microphone clamps. To ensure the stand withstands the rigors of touring for a longer time, the solid metal knobs are non-removable. The microphone stand can also be set up and taken down quickly. With just a 3/4 turn of the adjustment screw, the boom locks into place in an instant. Height adjustment is also simple and can be done quickly with the triangular-shaped grip sleeve.
