Product details

The style of the Classic series elegantly combines the natural, warm radiance of wood with the cool elegance of platinum-coated surfaces. Classic pens are available with a fine, ribbed casing made of expressive Macassar wood, reddish-brown Pernambuco, dark brown Grenadilla, or matte black ebony, as well as in a fully platinum-coated version or made of solid sterling silver. They feature a practical cartridge/converter system, a ruthenium-coated, hand-finished 18-carat gold nib with an iridium tip that is hand-engraved. The nib is crafted in over a hundred steps, mostly by hand, and is available in medium, fine, extra fine, broad, medium oblique, and broad oblique widths.
