They process soft ingredients such as fruit or vegetables just as quickly and evenly as hard nuts, ice cubes or frozen berries. Thanks to a special grinding function, it can even be used as a coffee grinder. The speed of the rotating blades can be varied, including automatic programmes for smoothies and crushed ice. There is also a pulse button, which ensures that ingredients that are difficult to blend do not stick to the blade. The removable glass jug of the TB 500 holds 1.75 litres. The refill opening in the lid is particularly practical, allowing you to add more ingredients while blending. Additional blending attachments include a portable drinking bottle (0.6 litres) - for smoothies, for example - and a special container for chopping food (0.2 litres) as standard. All in all, its versatility makes the TB 500 blender, which Graef offers in a black and a white version, almost like a small food processor. Incidentally, the blender fulfils the EK1 safety standard. This means that the blender can only be operated when the lid is closed.
