Test adapter VL2 E is designed for testing devices and cables with test equipment according to DIN VDE 0701-0702. This adapter is intended for performing measurements and tests on electrical devices and extension cables with CEE connectors in combination with test equipment. The following quantities can be measured with the adapter for the respective tests:

  • Electrical devices:
  • Protective conductor resistance
  • Insulation resistance (measurement of L1, L2, L3, and N, short circuit on PE)
  • Equivalent leakage current
  • Extension cables:
  • Protective conductor resistance
  • Insulation resistance (measurement of L1, L2, L3, and N, short circuit to PE)
  • Simple functional test for single and three-phase extension cables, including testing for conductor continuity, short circuit, and polarity reversal (clockwise) with a rotary selector switch.
