The new GoPro Hero9 Black is convincing all along the line. The image quality is very good, the stabilisation works excellently, as does the brand new horizon lock. If you're looking for a powerful action camera, the Hero9 Black is the perfect choice.

The Hero9 is not a new milestone, but it is a touch better than its predecessor and clearly the best action cam currently available. The video quality is as good as usual, the image stabiliser is excellent and the battery life is slightly longer. Owners of a Hero8 or Hero7 don't necessarily have to upgrade.
