5m LAN Cable CAT6 Patch Cable S/FTP (PiMF) Black

The Goobay 5m LAN Cable CAT6 Patch Cable S/FTP (PiMF) in black offers a high-quality solution for network connections. This Category 6 (CAT6) cable enables fast and reliable data transfers with speeds of up to 10 Gbps, making it ideal for home networks, office applications, and data-intensive tasks. The S/FTP (shielded with foil and braid) and the pairs in foil (PiMF) ensure excellent reduction of electromagnetic interference. With a length of 5 meters, it provides sufficient reach for most network setups. The robust black jacket design protects the cable from abrasion and other environmental influences. It is perfect for users who require a reliable and stable network connection.

Details

Pre-assembled, double-shielded LAN cable with RJ45 connectors for connecting network components. CAT-6 network cable suitable for 10-Gigabit Ethernet 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T, 10/100/1000/10000 Mbit/s. S/FTP overall shielding: aluminum foil shielding for individual pairs (PiMF) and aluminum braid shielding for the cable jacket. High-quality copper conductor (CU) and gold-plated contact surfaces ensure an excellent, high-performance network connection. Strain relief and sturdy jacket optimally protect the Ethernet cable from breakage. The latch protection on the RJ45 connector prevents snagging or breaking of the latch to ensure a reliable internet connection. The internet cable is CAT-6 tested and suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+).

Patch cable type

The cable type, describes the structure of a network cable. Fiber optic cables are suitable for distribution over longer distances (up to 80 km) and are resistant to interference. Copper cables can be used for distances up to 100 m and are cheaper to purchase.

Contact assignment

The contact assignment provides information on how the network cable can be used. An uncrossed cable can be used to connect terminals to the network, while a crossed cable can be used to connect two terminals.
