99.9% OFC copper AWG 24, Category 8.1 network/LAN cables are used for 25/40GBASE-T applications with a transmission bandwidth of up to 2 GHz, which represents four times the bandwidth of Category 6A. The green/transparent RJ45 connectors allow for easy visual differentiation in the Goobay Patch Cable Category 8.1. The length indication is located on the molded strain relief sleeve with a strain relief feature and a latch protection that prevents the cables from snagging and the latch from breaking off the connector. These cables meet all requirements for various application areas. High-speed network connection cables are suitable for 25/40G Base-T Ethernet networks (40 Gigabit capable) and are backward compatible with Ethernet (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T). Category 8.1 raw cables offer a maximum bandwidth of 2000 MHz / 2 GHz. The RJ45 connector, compliant with industry standards, has 50µ gold-plated contact surfaces (pins) and is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+). The double-shielded LAN/network cable features pair shielding (PIMF - pairs in metal foil) as well as overall shielding made of braid. It is specifically designed for gaming consoles with high-resolution images (4k/120Hz, 8k/60Hz) such as the Sony PlayStation 5 or Microsoft Xbox X.
