The electricity meter calculates the ongoing costs of household appliances and helps identify potential savings, for example, for refrigerators, washing machines, computers, televisions, and floor lamps. It calculates electricity costs in euros per kWh based on individual electricity tariff information. The device has a very wide measurement range between 0.5 W and a maximum of 3680 W, with a power of 3680 W and 16 A at 230 V. The electricity meter features a well-readable LC display that shows energy consumption and energy costs. It allows for real-time data reading as well as long-term measurements, as long as the device remains plugged in. Operation is simple with two buttons, and connection is made by simply plugging it in between the appliance and the Type E/F socket, CEE 7/3. The electricity consumption meter is suitable only for indoor use with an IP20 protection rating.
